Prayer/Collect for this Sunday

God, the giver of life, whose Holy Spirit wells up within your church: by the Spirit's gifts equip us to live the Gospel of Christ and make us eager to do your will, that we may share with the whole creation the joys of eternal life; through Jesus Christ, your Son, our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.



Weekly Notices & Information

  • St Matthew's Sunday School is for children under 10 years old. Special programs are designed to meet thier spiritual needs. So please bring your children to church for a Christian education. We will have to register every child in our Sunday School. Children from 11-13 will have a special program and our Sunday School leader, Carmel, will soon re-organise thier lessons.
  • Harvest Thanksgiving plus Gift Sunday, 5th October. Please collect your Gift Aid envelopes from the Information Desk after the service.
  • Bible Reading Notes There are plenty of Bible reading notes to help you read and understand the Bible better. If you need any help to get one, please talk to Modicum after the service.
  • Forgotten Items In Church If you have forgotten anything, or know anybody who has forgotten anything in Church, please contact Pearla or Mary, our churchwardens, for your lost item
  • Notices In Church If you would like to give any notices in the Church you should talk to Modicum, Pearla or Mary in advance. Thank You.
  • We have a container at the reception for your mission gift. Please give and support our Mission work.


Prayer and Healing
  • Please pray for all who are sick, bereaved or in any other need
  • Anyone who needs prayer for anything Modicum and Philip will be near the vestry door to pray with you after the service.


Visitors' Book

If you visit us this Sunday, please sign our visitors' book after the service.
The book is at the information desk near the entrance.
For further information, pick up a Blue Welcome leaflet from the information desk.



Prayer For The Week

Gracious Father, open my eyes that I may see - really see - that my personal story is congruent with the story of Your salvation. Help me, my Father, for I must get hold of this. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Monday - Friday Pre-school is open 9:15am-3:30pm.
Monday - Thursday Parish Office is open from 10:00am-5:00pm
Monday - Thursday Church is open for prayer/quiet-time. 8:30am-9:00am
TuesdayPrayer Fellowship. 8:00pm-9:00pm
Wednesday Holy Communion. 12:30pm
ThursdayParish Office is open for baptism/marriage/etc. 10:00am-5:00pm
FridayParish Office is closed.

Bible study groups are based on
